I am starting to investigate my husband, Don's family, and don't have much to go on. I know his Dad was Jerry Drury, from Angel Camp, CA. His Grandfather was Arthur Drury, who married a Milne. I am trying to find out if he is related to famous newspaper editor and friend of Mark Twain, Wells Drury, is a relative. Wells lived in Northern CA and Virginia City, NV. Angel Camp, CA is within 200 miles of each city he lived in. He says his Grandfather looked like the picture I have of an elderly Wells Drury. If anyone has any information on his family, or ANY Drurys in the Angel Camp/Northern CA area, please let me know! Donna
