I'm not a DRURY researcher, but this info from one of my books may help someone here. From the 1891 "Biographical History of Pottawattamie Co, Iowa" lists a bio for T.O. GAULT, (b. Maryland 1849) says he migrated with his father to Ripley Co, Indiana. T.O. Gault married in 1888 in Drury, Rock Island Co, Illinois, to MELISSA DRURY, "a lady of education and culture and a native of that place. She is a daughter of ELI DRURY, an old settler and a prominent citizen of Rock Island, Co. He has been postmaster for over 35 years at Drury, in Rock Island Co. Her mother was Margaret Hubert Drury, a native of Pennsylvania. ELI DRURY was a native of Wayne Co, Indiana. Both parents reside in Drury, Rock Island Co, Illinois." I hope this info helps someone.
