Bobbie, James Harvey Drury was the son of Lawson Drury by his second wife Sara Tyler. Lawson's life is well documented in Sciotto County, OH where he moved and served as a judge in Green County. Lawson was born on 7FEB1770 in Shrewsbury, MA the son of John Drury Jr and his wife Martha Buckminster Rice. He married first in Haverill, MA Betsey Johnston. She died in 1803 and he remarried to Sara Tyler. Many LDS records on this line are confused, but much accurate info is available through Lawson's obituary in Danville, OH and write ups in local histories. He died at the home of his son Charles Johnston Drury. James was the first son of Sara Tyler. Betsey Johnston's children were Lawson Jr., Charles, and Ruth. Sara had Ann, Elizabeth, James, John, George Washington and Sarah. I have descendants of all for at least a generation except Sarah. I Have James harvey's line for two generations with wife's but no great-grandchildren. James Harvey Drury was in the eigth generation of decent from Hugh Drury of Boston who arrived on the Abigail in 1635. Lt. Hugh Drury m. Lydia Rice Lt. John Drury m. Mary Weare Capt. Thomas Drury m. Rachel Rice Caleb Drury m. Elizabeth Eames John Drury Sr. m. Anne Gleason John Drury Jr. m. Martha Buckminster Rice Lawson Drury m. Sara Tyler James Harvey Drury m. Sarah Kouns Much of this info is from a defunct website by Michael Holland. Some is from a website by Sarah Kouns and some from www.sciotto.org. I am very interested in descendants from your line or other great grandchildren of James Harvey. I will dig through my records for e-mails from associated lines. As you can tell from these lines, the Drury and Rice families are intregally entwined. The Edmund Rice Association serves as a quasi-Drury family organization as all Drurys are descendants of both Lydia Rice and Rachel Rice (Lydia's neice.) Your Martha Buckmister Rice line descends through Bazaleel Rice and Martha Buckminster of Shrewsbury, MA. Please keep in contact and I will search around for more.
