Thomas Drury, County Sligo, 1822

Recently an old family bible was located, it was among old family pictures. Within the same box, there were old articles about Bishop Thomas Drury. I believe that my gr-gr-grandfather is a relative of Bishop Thomas Drury - or his parents: Michael and Margaret but I have only been able to go so far up in my own family tree.
Briefly what I am aware of is:
Thomas Drury (b.1822), County Sligo m. Mary Cassidy
their children: Patrick Drury (b.~1853 Scotland), Ann (b.~1855 Scotland), James (b. 1856 Scotland), Mary (b. 1859 Scotland), Thomas (b. 1863 Scotland), Bridget (b. 1864 Scotland), Michael (b. 1866 Scotland), John (b.1869 Scotland), Ellen (b. 1872 Maryland, US), Catherine (b. 1874 Illinois, US).
Thomas was said to have left Ireland around 1849 to head to Scotland where he could find work as a miner. He married Mary Cassidy and they emigrated from Scotland to the US in 1871, where the family mined in Maryland and then in Illinois. Thomas died (according to the bible) in 1876.
If you have found any further information on your family - I would love to know if there is a connecting piece. I have not yet found Thomas' parents or his brothers/sisters. I am at a loss as to where to search - If anything in this seems like it could connect please contact me.
Thank you,
