Rick,

A search of this site shows message #1335 from Marshall Drury working on a related line. He notes these residence of Noblesville, IN came from Mercer Co, KY.

The 1880 IN census has a James Drury b. 1874 in Richland, Rush, IN born in IN. He is the son of James (31) and Eliza M. (24) both born KY, with both parents from KY. The 1900 IN has likely the sames James Drury b. 1849 living in Nobelsville with a new wife named Eliza age 63, married 8 years with no children.

The 1850 Mercer Co, KY census has a James b 1849 son of Harvey (27) and Martha (24) (Harvey is mentioned in Marshall's post.) They are living with William (73) b in MD and Elizabeth b. PA. likely Harvey's parents and James Arthur's G-Grandparents. A search of Familysearch finds many refernces to this MD man, but no ancstors. He is often confused with the Wm from the Drury Reynolds line out of PA through IN to Rock Island, IL.

This is not my line, but I hope it gets you started.

Michael Drury
