Michael, your information is very interesting. My family line goes back to John Drewry (b 1643)of York county. The Williamsburg library files from the York Co. reseach study indentifies a John Drury who died about 1662 /63 was as the the father of John Drewry. This wouls mean Robert Drewrie that arrived in 1635, was likely too young to be the father of John who died in 1662.
I would be interested in try to find out more about the Benjamin Drury. Where did you obtain a copy of the document you refer to in your posting. I have stated developing informaton about the Drewry line in England and will try to establish a reasonable connection (some year).
