Barbara,
Not sure we can connect; however I do have a Charles A. Drury, g-g-grandfather. Don't know when or where he died. His children were born on the island of Montserrat, BWI, abt. 1848-1852. They were in Bucks Co., Pa in 1860 census. Father not in household, have been told that he was a teacher of languages in Philadelphia.

According to g-grandmo. Drury, her grandfather was Augustus Vere Drury, Captain, RN. He served during the Napoleonic wars. He retired on half pay in 1814 and d. 1845.

I am trying to document parentage of g-g-grandmo, Charlotte Vere Drury, and confirm her descent from Augustus Vere Drury.
