Unless Mary Pitt, daughter of John Pitt who died 1702 married someone named Tompkins prior to marrying Unknown Drury, this could not be Mary Pitt b. c 1684 who was mentioned in her father's LWT 1702 and "daughter Mary m. Drury". I have never really been sure if this was a last name or first name. There are many listed, some Drury T. Drury Joseph, etc.. The Pitt/s and Drury families were very close and travelled together, according to history. John Pitt is my husband's lineage and if anyone has discovered later data I would be most grateful if they would make it known.
