John Robert Lavern Drury - Canada

I am just starting a search for my paternal grandfather. I have litte info on him. The two middle names should help. John Robert Lavern Drury married my grandmother, Mary Delilah Bishop, in Michigan (Lansing-Pontiac area maybe) around 1930. I think they were both originally from Canada. My grandmother was from Lyndon, Ontario. His nickname was "Vernie". That's all I know. Any further info would be appreciated.
