Rebecca Drury/Drewry married Simon Caswell on aug 12 1799 in Worcester, MA. Rebecca was said to be of Sutton, Worcester, MA. She was the 2nd wife of Simon Caswell. They had 3 children that I can find: Shapley b. April 21 1800 in Wendell, Worcester, MA; Rebecca b. July 14 1802 in Wendell, Worcester, MA; John b. ov 22 1805. The family moved from Massachusetts between 1806 and 1809 to Brandon, Rutland, VT. They are listed on the 1810 and 1820 census. Rebecca married Jesse Moon about 1819 and moved to Ticonderoga, New York where she had 5 children and died Oct 3 1840. I can find no record of the death of Simon Caswell and Rebecca Drury. I think it is possible that Rebecca is the daughter of Zachariah Drury and Ruth Sawyer but I have not proof, only geographical. Simon Caswell first married Sarah Haley Nov 25 1768 and had 3 children, Sarah, Simon and Shapley Hawley Caswell. Shapley married Molly Jennison Newton of Shrewsbury, Worcester, MA on Dec 2 1819 and leaves with his new bride for Brandon, Rutland, VT. He is listed on the 1820 census as Shapney Caswell. They had one daughter, Caroline Sarah Caswell Jun 8 1823. Shapley disapears in the 1820's and Molly remarries about 1833 in Northborough, Worcester, MA. Can anyone help me with this family. Rebecca Caswell is my GGG Grandmother. Thank you for any suggestions.
