The earliest ancestor I've found in my Drummond family bloodline is William Drummond, born ca. 1779 in North Carolina; moved ca. 1810 to Powell River area in Claiborne County, Tennessee; and died in 1832 in Claiborne County, Tennessee. He married Tabitha Owsley (Ousley) between 1800 and 1805 and they had ten children.
