Charles, I have been catching your queries on the forum. I do not have anything to add to your information except that I have some Drummonds in my family in Missouri mostly in the early 1900's. My curiosity is with Francis Washington Guy. I know he is male, except that my gr. Grandmother was Francis Celina Guy (listed in various census, etc. as Lena, S. Guy, or Francis. I have been told she was Cherokee, however, I have no record of her before her marriage to James R. Frost in Sumner Co., Tenn. in abt. 1844.
Their son, my grandfather, Idle (Id, Idle) Washington Frost was born in 1861 in Allen Co., Ky. I have not record of him until he married in 1892 in Missouri. Two of his daughters married a Drummond. However, it is the Washington name that intrigues me. I cannot find the parents or siblings of Francis Celina Guy Frost. Does that name mean anything to you? Mary Frost Akers
