I have a copy of the marriage ( in 1862)of Alexander Drummond to Agnes Kirk , both working in the linen mills in Leslie, Fife. He was 30 and she was 28. I`m pretty sure they were my great-grandparents - my middle name is Drummond and I was born in Fife and lived in Leslie.
My grandmother, their daughter, was Christian / Christina, born 1871 BUT she married Robert Seath and she died in 1915. She is buried in Leslie cemetery with my grandfather ( died 1954) and 3 of their daughters, including a Christina Drummond Seath and an Agnes Kirk Seath.
Unless your Christina Drummond was a cousin??? The old Scots custom of using the same names can lead you astray, as I`ve found!
I`m living in Kirkcaldy in Fife, 9 miles from Leslie .
