Bob, I think I have some rlevant info for you.
According to the 1851 Census for Falkirk, Stirlingshire, Enum Dist No1, page 20, at 88 Bainsford resided:
William Drummond Head, Married, 51, Blacksmith, born Crieff, Perthshire,
Elizabeth Drummond, Wife aged 38, born Falkirk, and their three children John 13, Janet, 6 and Ann, 4 (She would therefore have been 26 or thereabouts at the time of her 1873 marriage.
I am a descendant of Janet Drummond, who would have been born about 1822. Subsequently married George Douglas in 1843 at Falkirk. Have you noticed her name in your research?
