In October of 1950 and in February of 1951, a grandson of Wilford and Nancy Tharp Drummond wrote to my father, Arlyn Drummond, in Lancaster, Missouri, seeking a connection. The grandson was George Shahan of Albia, Iowa. The letters might be of interest to someone researching that family line and I would be glad to share them. The only connection seems to be that both lines first came out of Fauquier co, Virginia to Harrison co. Virginia (WV) and later moved to the mid-west.
