Did you ever get more evidence of the connection to John Quincy?
I am a descendant of Jacob Boy & Mary Drummond through their son Jacob, Jr.
The only information I have is a grandson (I believe it was William Adams Boy) told his granddaughter his middle name was Adams not Adam because his grandmother was a niece to John Quincy Adams.
