There is a cemetery called the "Drown Plot" located in Lyman ME. near the Kennebunk Line about 200 feet from road. Buried there are Peter C. Drown, died Nov 12, 1874, aged 68 yrs., 5 mos. Sally C., Wife Peter C. Drown, died Oct 19, 1892, aged 86 yrs. 6 Mos Isaiah, son Peter and Sally Drown, died Feb 20, 1866 aged 19 yrs 10mos George C. son Peter and Sally Drown. d. at Andersonville Ga., Aug 16, 1864, aged 32 yrs Emmons, Andrew, died Nov 28, 1857, aged 82 yrs Elizabeth, wife Andrew Emmons, D. Dec 19, 1857, aged 77 yrs Garey, Mary E., Dau Charles and Catharine (Drown) Garey, died Jan. 18,1858, aged 7 days Gerry, Catharine, W. Charles Gerry, died June 14, 1882, aged 51 yrs., 1 mo Looking for info on the above family. George C. died in the Civil War. Has Veterans flag on grave. There is a veterans Flag on Peter C. Drown.
