In his book "The Drowne Genealogy", Henry Russell Drowne lists a Daniel Drowne as a son of David and Sally (Hurd)
Drowne. He gives no further information about Daniel. This line of Drownes goes back to Leonard Drowne, born
in England. Have you contacted the Sheffield
Historical Society, PO Box 52, Sheffield,Vt 05866? They provided me with information from the
Sheffield town records that was very helpful.
