Attorney-at-law. Born in the City and County of San Francisco, Cal., December 17, 1874.

Son of Albert Newell Drown and Virginia (Cullen)
Grandson of Nathaniel Drown and Mary Newell (Burr)
Great-grandson of Jeremiah Scott Drowne and Betsey (Grant)
Great grandson of BENJAMIN DROWNE, JR. and Rachael (Scott)
BENJAMIN DROWNE, JR., was born in Warren, R. I., November 25, 1747, and died in Barrington, in the same state, June 12, 1826. He was a Corporal in Capt. Thomas Allen's Company, and marched on the Alarm at Bristol on the 1st of April, 1776. In 1780 he was a Sergeant in Capt. Viall Allen's Company, Rhode Island Militia.
