Pierre George Drouillard was mutilated, disembowled, beheaded and hacked to pieces, in Montana, May, 1810 by Blackfeet Indians, they were known to practice cannibalism so they probably ate his heart and perhaps his liver. There are many markers, commemorating his life. I believe Pierre Menard or Manuel Lisa was in charge of his estate, so they probably buried the pieces left in the red stained prarie grass, there in Montana.
