I am writing for my mother Andrea Golinski. Her grandmother was Marie Eugenie Drouin born in July, 1884 and died in July, 1973. She married a Norweigen man by the name of August Bedin in the early 1900's and changed her name to Jennie Bedin to sound more American. She had one son named Albert born in 1915. She was one of 9 children that we know for sure. She had a brother John, a sister Lilly, a brother Albert, and a sister Laura (we are unsure of the other names). She was born in Quebec and later settled into Brooklyn, New York where my Mother and I still live. She spoke French fluently. We would like to hear if you have any more information about your family? Do you know of my Great-Grandmother? As I was reading what you wrote my mother and I realized that if you look at my Great-Grandmother's name "Marie Eugenie" that would be Marie and Gene put together, so we believe that she is indeed one of the 9 children you wrote about.
