Hi Kevin
I just have just discovered that my great great grandfathers first wife was a Dronsfield her name was Ann and she was born in 1840 her father was Abraham and mother Ann ? My GG Grandfather was Ogden Taylor he a Ann Dronsfield married at St Mary's Church in Oldham, Lancashire, England, Ann must have died some time during the next 17 years because Ogden Taylor married again in 1876.
On the marriage details of Ann and Ogden it lists Ann's father as Abraham address as the Carion Crow (which is a public house, ale house which still exists today) and Abraham's occupation was a Stone Mason.
If you have found anything that sound familiar please let me know, there are very few DRONSFIELD's they all seem to be DRANSFIELD's.
