My Aunt Carrie Brody Sutherland when we were talking about family trees, (age 95) said she had always been told tha her Great Grandfather (Daniel D Driskel) had married a Native American. She died age 101, and I'm still trying to find a way to verify. I know nobody seems to have any information on what his wife's name was! So i wonder if that might be true and no one handing down family information wanted to acknowledge, bewcause that would have been a stigma at that time, being called a "half-breed"
