I just found a link to Missouri death certificates, and found my grandfather, grandmother and step grandmother on my father's side, great to say the least. I had NO idea that my grandfather had a second wife, divorced from the first.
The first wife, Nellie Murphy, was born in Kansas, died in St. Louis, 1923. Her mother, my G-Grandmother, is listed on the death certificate as Annie O. Driscoll, and could be O'Driscoll, as the writing back then wasn't easily readable, and I don't know if the "O" is a middle initial, or a first letter for her last name. So, I have NO idea what part of Ireland Annie (O.)(O') Driscoll was born in, or when, and that is who I am looking for, Annie (O.)(O') Driscoll-Murphy.
I do know Annie's married name was Murphy, and husband was a "Jerry Murphy", also born in Ireland, no location/time frame Ireland or Kansas. And, at Nellie's birth sometime in, or very close to 1879, Jerry and Annie were in Kansas, no location given.
Any info???
