Dennis Driskell (Driscoll; derivative of Eiderscoil in Gaelic) and his wife whose maiden name was Thacker came from Ireland to Granville CO, NC. Children: Timothy, Dennis, Jr., David, Polly, and Sarah.
I, too, grew up in Mercer Co KY. (Salvisa).
My mother is Grace James Champion whose paternal great grandparents were Jacob and Louisa Driskell Kennedy. Corinne Driscoll Catlett of Anderson Co is said to have the whole Driscoll family history.
