There were 3 brothers from the original clan that settled in Laughlintown, Pennsylvannia: John, Andrew, and William.
John b. 16 August 1777 d. 15 March 1866
Andrew b. 12-1789 d. 1 September 1860
William Allison b. 22 November 1792 d. 18 March 1881
1) John Drips & Elizabeth Vannausdle had 14 children, one of which was William b. 14 April 1815 d. 2 January 1816 in Homer, Licking, Ohio, and another was William Harrison Drips b. 23 September 1824 d. unknown, Homer, Licking, Ohio. Andrew Jackson Drips b. 5 July 1828 d. 12 March 1912.
2) Andrew Drips (the mountain man and my g-g-grandfather)and 1st wife Margaret Mary Macompemay had 4 children, one of which was William Drips b. 12 August 1834, he drowned in the Platte River, Bellevue NE he wasn't old enough to be in the Civil War.
Andrew and his second wife Louise Geroux had 4 children, George, Anna, Julia, and Andrew Jackson Drips b. 14 October 1850 d. 5 January 1911.
3) William Allison Drips & Martha Ann Clarke had 13 children. Andrew W. Drips b. 1826 d. 7 March 1862, Pea Ridge (killed in civil war)

William Allison Drips, Pennsylvannia Volunteer, commanded by Captain Irwin Horrell 1814
