Hi Gerry,
It's funny how things go, I am in touch with Mrs. Rose Parks (RParks102@msn.com) she is a des. of Keziah by the Herring Line. In my first message post I list my ancestors as:
Steve > Billy > Jesse > Elijah > John > Daniel. Well, Daniel was married to Penelope Elizabeth Lee. Her Father was Jesse Lee and mother was Judith Sheely. Daniel and Penelope had 3 or 4 children:1)John Drinkwater b. abt 1786 (this is my John Drinkwater - father of Elijah) 2) Kesiah b. abt 1791 and 3) Elizabeth b. abt 1793. 4) Some people list a fourth child as Daniel - that is not proven yet.

By what bit of inf I have Kesiah married a Josiah Herring, son of Michael Herring. Josiah was born abt 1788 in Robeson County NC.

Mrs. Parks has just sent me an email with an attachment that contains quite a bit about Kesiah, Daniel, and the Herring side. I have just gotten back from grave searching in Morgan, Dawson and Albany and have not had time to input all she has sent. You would do well to contact her at the email address listed above as she might be able to help you more with the Herring side. She has responed very quickly when I have contacted her.

I had originally contacted her to find out if she knew anything about the parents of Daniel Drinkwater. She only has the Herring side - but of course I will use what is sent and be grateful for it.

You don't by chance happen to know anything about the parents of Daniel Drinkwater b. abt 1759 in Bladen or Robeson County NC and died sometime bet. 1830 and 1840 in Emmanuel County Georgia? If so please let me know.

Thanks,
Steve
