My grandmother, Irene Idabelle Driggers (b. 1901), was a Driggers from Summerville. Her father was John Ealy Driggers, "Mr. John," who was the night policeman in Summerville from 1911 to 1941. He married 2 times and had families with both wives. With his first wife, Estelle Hiott, he had John, Agnes, and Irene. With his second wife, Fannie Burbage, he had Dora, Coy, and Conrad. Do any of these names sound familiar?
