Michael,

I'm descended from James Ivey born 1745 in North Carlonia, migrated to Marlboro County, SC, and his wife Mourning. Have recently seen (without proof) that her surname was Driggers. James and Ivey's son Isaiah (apparently also known as Little Bear) applied for land as a half Indian saying his mother Mourning was full blood Choctaw. Mourning would have been born about 1750.

Were the Choctaw and Tusarora Indians related? Would there be any way of finding out Mourning's family? Thanks.
