I really need to advance in my research on the Driggers. I have been stuck with John in SC, for a few years. Here's what I have: DRIGGERS- John (b. abt 1765) & dau. Jane (b 1820) & a daughter Lydia (b. abt 1800). John was married to a Nancy Unknown. Jane married Levi Todd and had 3 children that I know of. I am a descendant of their son James A. Todd who it is belived died in the Civil War. ......... 1850 Census of Chambers Co, Alabama: John Driggers: Age 85 b SC; farmer est $100 ...... 1850 Census of Chambers Co Alabama: Chambers County Ala - shows Levi Todd & Jane w/ child Marion & other Driggers women (sisters?) 1860 Census of Chambers Co, Chambers Co Alabama shows Jane and sister Lydia living with Levi Todd (Janes's husband) and Mother Nancy also. I have left this alone and now it's time to pick it up again. Thanks for any help in advance. I think some of these census records came from Jim Driggers who is on this forum.
