Just found this site today. Am quite interested in your line. My Great Grandmother married a Driggers. Matthew Driggers. Still trying to locate date. However, my mother has picture of her. Believe her name was Rosa. The information we have so far is that she was native Cherokee. Very interested in finding out if the relatives you and the others are speaking of may be sisters and/or brothers to Rosa and/or Mathew.
