Hi, I have info about a Demitrus/Susy Stanford, dgt. of Thomas Stanford & Fannie Payne. She married Wm. David Driggers in 1837, she died 8-8-1842, birth related. Child of Wm. D. Driggers & Demitrus/Susy was Thomas Franklin Driggers, b. 8-9-1842.

Then there is a Thomas Franklin Driggers, married Julia Ann Boren - they had children named Nancy Jane, Demaris (Macy) b. 12-13-1875, d. 3-6-65 in Comanche, Ok. and Elizabeth Maude Driggers.

My notes says this Demaris (Macy) married a Moses Edward Shelby in McKinney, Collin County, Tx. and also a B.F. Keel in Tx. My notes say she lost 4 babies in Texas & 2 in Comanche, Ok. She & Moses Shelby had a child named Tempie Tincie Shelby, b. 10-2-1900 in Farmersville, Collin Co., Texas

It sounds like we are looking in the same area at least & the names are sure similar, huh, especially the Demaris. Let me hear from you & we can go further if you want to.
Sharon
