Hi Jim. I don't know if Lula was married before my grandfather George Carver. She was born on November 3? She died May 1954, she is buried at Forest Park Cemetary in Houston. I will be going down to Tx next month to see my mother and I will try and get better dates. Basically all I really know at this time is imfo from my Uncle Harvey who stayed in touch with Bessie's side of the family until his death. I know from him that she had a brother Walter?, Sisters Bessie and Maude. Lula was born in Bonham Texas and That her mother was M. Fulfer and that her mother died when she was around nine years old, her father remarried.
