Unfortunately I don't have any information on the Drews family you are looking for. My Drews first settled in Fountain City, Wisconsin 1873. They were Johan (John) Drews, his wife Magdalena Doreatha (nee Schwark) and their two children: Christine and Johan. Christine married Theodore Brandt and moved to Winona, Minnesota. Christine died in 1927. Their son Johan (John) was a blacksmith, and sometime after his parents deaths(1902 and 1917) he moved to Mendota, Minnesota. His eldest daughter was born in Minneapolis, in 1896. Still haven't found out why they were in that area. I have heard they were visiting relatives, someone that owned a brewery, but my mother can't remember their names. John married Emma Strube.
If I can provide any more information, please let me know.
