Hi List,
Looking for anybody who is related to William Henry DREW, (1854-1933) He hailed from DEVON, but moved to BRADFORD and was the founder member of the Independent Labour Party. Moved to Calgary, Canada in 1907, but later returned to the UK leaving two of his daughters Alice and Ada in Canada. William Henry DREWS GGGG Grandfather was Edward DREWE, (note the E), of Halberton married circa 1666 to ? MELHUISHE daughter of Joanne MELHUISHE of CULMSTOCK.
I'm wondering if these DREWS are connected with Julius DREWE who built DROGO Castle in DREWESTEIGTON in DEVON.
If any of these names are familiar or if you have any information that you think could be of interest please get in touch.
