My ancestor is George Drewry, born at Leasingham House in Lincolnshire, England. He had a brother(no name given) and sister, Mary Anne who married man named Barnes. My ancestor married Elizather Pepper and they lived at Elpringham in Lincolnshire where all their children were born. They moved to Whaplode (or Waplode) in 1810 and then to Sutton St. James. They came to Canada in 1817, living first outside of Picton, Ont. and then at Cramahi Township, Northumberland
Co., Ont. In England, the family had been gentlemen sheep farmers. If you have any additional info, I would love to receive any background on the English ancestors. Many thanks.
