Sallie Drewery--Little Rock Drewerys
I have two old letters which mention Drewerys:
From Margaret P. Gillespie Quindland of Hernando Desoto Co., MS to her Aunt Ann Gillespie Conner of Yalobusha Co., MS, April 5, year unknown (but had to be before 1875--year of author's death): "I received a letter from Sallie Drewery that was and she says her Johhie is very sick. You know she is married. There is a great deal of sickness about here. Mostly colds and catarel[?] fever."

Gillespie, Hernando Desoto Co., MS to his sister Ann Gillespie Conner, July 24-25, 1872. "We got a letter from Drewery's [sp?] family about the middle of June. They were living in Little Rock and all well at the time. They wrote Margaret C. had married and had one child a little boy but had the misfortune to lose her husband about 12 months ago."
