Robert Drew MY BRICK WALL 1807-1879

Well, I've been stuck on dear ole Robert for a decade. It's like he dropped from the sky. I don't know his parents OR siblings. Sad, but I'm stuck there. Many places say he's from NJ, so I've looked there. This is from the Beers 1880 book which shows that ... the story was on his son William.

William Drew, farmer, P O Delisle; was born in Van Buren Township in 1834, and is the son of Robert Drew, who was born in New Jersey, March 29, 1807, and moved to Darke County, around 1825, and located here, when there were but a few settlers in the township.

Robert married Lydia BLISS - her family I can find a lot on. I know they married in Ohio in 1830. Robert had one son (James) in KY in 1837, previous and latter children in Darke County.

Robert is my 3rd Great Grandfather. I hope someone can give me some more information on him. I have his birth and death and marriage dates etc. I just need to find his family :) He was born March 29, 1807, Married Jan 21, 1830 in Warren County, and he died July 6, 1879 in Darke County.

Thanks for listening.

Cindy
