FOUND: A Civil War era Photo Album with tintypes, from the Drew Family
I have good news for researchers of the Drew family.
Your family's antique photograph has been located!
I am Robert D. King and in my travels, I see family photos lost inantique stores and for sale on ebay.I think that is sad knowing that thereare family tree researchers and descendants, that would treasure thosephotos. So I have decided to try and do something about it by returning asmany as I can to their rightful families.
So I buy photos with names and dates or places on them and list them onmy webpage, so descendants of these lost souls can find them and bring themhome. The thousands of photographs are mostly from the 1800's and includeTintypes, Daguerreotypes, Cabinet Cards, Carte-de-visites, Personal PicturePostcards, Photo Albums and Yearbooks.
Recently, I was able to acquire a Civil War era photo album is 6” by 5” by 2” thick. It is in great shape and has 30 CDVs and 11 tintypes in it.8 Photos were taken in Skowhegan, Maine, 3 in Lowell, Mass., 2 in Boston, Mass. and 1 in Newburyport, Mass.
The names in the album are:
Joseph Buswell
Jane [Drew] Buswell

E. B .B
Jenney
Gertrude (about 4 years old)
