Sharon, I may have a link. I have a gggrandfather Oliver Drew b. 1801 in VT. All my search keeps pointing to Shelburne. Could Peter have had an earlier son? Maybe another wife. Oliver left VT by 1820 and lived in NY in Dutchess, Co with an older woman named Elizabeth Drew (a mother?), then went west to Cass Co. MI where he married twice and died in 1853 after being killed by
indians. This isn't much but maybe there's a clue here for you.ADF
