I have also been trying to connect Lydia Drew. I received some information from a member of the Hale family Assn. which shows her parents to be James Drew (b. 1728; d. 01 JAN 1809)son of Clement Drew and Mary Bunker.
and Susanna Canney daughter of Icabod Canney (b. 26 JUN 1705) and Susanna Stanyan (b. 20 MAR 1705). This information is undocumented, and I fear incorrect, even though the Canney families and the Drews were both in Strafford NH. Would appreciate any info you are able to find. Janet
