My research is second-hand only, but I've seen a birthdate of 1667 for Edward in a couple of places, and 1692 for his son Thomas. Ron Thompson, who used to post a lot on this board, identifies the Thomas Drew b. 1655 as Edward's uncle rather than his brother. I don't know what the documentation is for any of this.
