Dear Nora, It seems that you know more about my Drew ancestry than I ever did! In researching my Swim family a cousin sent me parts of the 1880 census, as it contained Swim family members, but I have never seen the complete census--how do I go about getting it? I am a real novice at genealogy and can't download from WebTV as with a computer to access some info that's available. I am quite sure that Adelbert Curry was my Dad's "Uncle Del"--he would have been in his 60's when I was a child, as I remember him as an older man. I must say here that for some reason that I don't know the Curry family was always looked down upon, and my Mother was quite snobbish in her way, so Ithink that may be why I know so little about that part of my ancestry. As to the O'Dells, I know very little about them either, but when "Uncle Del" walked past our house going wherever, I'll bet he was going to visit an O'Dell family that lived a couple of miles west of the village--I went to school with some of their children without realizing the connection! Now I am more curious than ever! More family links to look into--how does one keep them all straight? Thank you so much for all your help and information, dear Nora, I certainly hope you can find all your lineage even if it never links to mine, the name 'Gilbert Drew" seeming like I had heard of it somewhere, but not coming through as to where or how!
