Lewis Drew 1790 Ireland to Maryland

Seeking information about Lewis Drew. Family tradition has it that in 1790 he sailed from Ireland aboard the Southampton for Maryland. He later moved from Maryland to Sampson County, North Carolina. I have information about his descendants, but none about his ancestors. If anyone has any information, I would appreciate it very much.
