I believe his parents may have been George Dressler and Sarah Fischer. Frederick m. Lucinda Hatfield 25/Dec/1856 in Berrien, MI. They had ten children: William Elmer-1857, Scyler Colfax-1858, Mary Alice-1860, John Milton-1862, Ulysses Grant-1864, Luella "Ella" (my grandmother)-1866, Frances-1868, Edith May-1871, Jessie-1892, and Charles-1874. Lucinda d. 1904 in Rice Co., KS. and Frederick d. 1917 in Reno Co., KS. Any information will be appreciated.
