I have written my Aunt Helen and Rose Mary about our
exchanges at the request of my mother. They may be
able to provide "fill in the blank" type information
about Casper, since they were in their late 20's
before he passed away. I have asked them to provide
me with details like: What port of entry did they
arrive at upon coming to America? What were Casper's
brother's names (my mom said that 3 brothers came to
the US together and that Casper stayed in Pittsburgh
while the two other brothers went west)? Did any of
Barbara's family come with her? Etc.
I had to snail mail it though (they don't e-mail and
mom suggested that it would be better to have their
hand written records for posterity's sake), so it will
probably be a couple of weeks before I get anything
back. I'll keep you informed.
I have been using work sheets to keep all my info safe
but my electronic files need work. I am in the
process of filling in siblings and dates on my Family
tree maker on my home PC and on Ancestry.com. This
will take me a while, but I should have it done by the
time that Helen's and Rose Mary's response arrives.
When I am done I will try to e-mail you my complete
tree to date or get you access to my tree on line.
