I have over 150 DRESCHERs listed on my family
tree from 1704 in Horinghausen, Germany and
Butzbach, Germany. My Great Great Great
Grandfather Johann Wilhelm (William) DRESCHER
and his brothers Johann Jacob DRESCHER and
Johann Daniel DRESCHER came to the USA in the
mid 1800's and settled in Marion County and
Lewis County, MO. I have a descendant of
Johann Daniel DRESCHER still living in
Butzbach, Germany and is trying to find other
descendants of Johann Daniel DRESCHERs 18
children. My Great Great Great Grandfather
Johann Wilhelm (William) DRESCHER had several
children who came with him to America and
then had several more that were born here in
the USA in Marion County, MO. Johann Jacob
DRESCHER had 10 children when he came to the
USA in 1857 and settled in Lewis Co., MO.
