I do not know if this will be of importance to any of you but ... please note the following auction description:
Antique 1800 Ambrotype in Ornate Gold Frame
Just purchased this antique ambrotype at an Estate sale. It is a photographic image of James Bradford Dresser, born Nov. 20, 1819. It gives this information on the back cardboard on the picture. He was the son of James and Hannah (Curtis) Dresser. He died in March 16th, 1901 and married Ann Irwin Oct. 31st 1844. He was Justice of the Peace 1854-1862 in Adams Basin, NY, Organist & Choir leader 1854.
