(2.) Sarah Ellen(Ella) b. 1 March 1867 Married Elmer Tucker 14 March 1889 Justice of the Peace Joseph M. Weedy Vigo Co. and died 26 Oct. 1932. I found Elmer and Sarah on the 1900 Edgar Co., IL census. According to her info, she was born in IL in 1862. Elmer was born in 1865. Sarah's father was born in VA, but she listed her mother's birthplace as "Don't Know".listed
The children listed for them are:

Another son, its also hard to read, but begins with an Sh, b. 1898.
(3.) Maggie (Margaret)Megan b. 1875 in IN. Married Freeland Maynard 14 March 1896 in Paris,ILL. Edgar Co. (no death info yet).
(4.)James Wilson b. 1871 in IN. Married Melvina Blue 1 Aug 1889 in Paris,ILL Edgar Co.It is listed in the Illinois marriage record James registered as James William Grass Jr.

first marriage took place in Edgar Co. IL. James was killed by a falling
tree shortly after their marriage.

I see that there is some possibly conflicting info here. It says that
Melvina and James were divorced and that "James was killed by a falling tree
shortly after their marriage".
Anyway, I have no knowledge of any children born to Melvina and James. If
you are descended from them, please send me information on their
descendants.

(5.) William T. (my grandfather it is on his military record T is for Tecumseh as his middle name) b. 22 Feb. 1877 in Paris,ILL Edgar Co. Married Annette Bell Price 5 Dec 1908 by Justice of the Peace Brazel Brown. d. 28 June 1916 in Terre Haute Vigo Co. buried Markel Cem. Otter Creek twp.
They had an only Child James Marshall Grass born November 3rd, 1910 and he first Lois Jackson who later married Rex Byers. James M and Lois had a daughter Patsy who passed away this past May 10. James divorced Lois not long after Patsy was born and he married Ruby Mildren Dixon November 22, 1937. They had Sonja Annett B 11/7/1938 the Jackie Marshall Oct 28,1941 and Sherryl Lynn 2/1/1949
(6.) Sarah Jane(Jennie) b. 10 March 1880 in Marshall,ILL. Clark Co. (which is next to Edgar Co.) Married John McHenry then William Edward Whitehead 20 May 1900 and my grandfather Leo George Archambeault on 19 Sept 1904. d. 22 Oct 1948 Terre Haute Vigo Co and buried Highland Lawn Cem. Edgar Co and Clark Co ILL are just west across the Wabash River from Terre Haute,IN and Clay and Johnson Co,IN are just east from Terre Haute.
