This John Drennen is the son of James A. Drennen of Chester Co. PA, who was the son of Joseph Drennen Sr. of Chester Co. PA. I have John b. 1792, Pennsylvania and d. 1875, Chester Co. PA. He was a War of 1812 Soldier. His first wife was Mary McCreery and his second wife was Elizabeth Hartline (according to his 1812 pension application). Children from first marriage were Wilson Drennen, b.1822, Samuel Drennen, b.1824, and Jesse Milton Drennen, b.1834. Children from second marriage were Christopher Columbus Drennen, b.1849, Susanna Drennen, b. 1855, Hiram T. Drennen, b.1859, and Sarah Jane Drennen, b.1865. My genealogy of the descendents of Joseph Drennen Sr. of Chester Co. PA can be found at http://hdhdata.org/roots/
